I’m SO hungry…
So, I’ve been toying around with my breakfast for quite a while now, but I now have two go-to meals that I feel give me enough energy for the day even if I slot an exercise session in between breakfast and lunchtime.
One thing I’ve found really satisfies the 11:30am cravings is the brekkie bowl. There are so many variations out there using an array of oats, grains and seeds, but here is my current brekkie favourite.
Mixed Oats with Chia, Sunflower Seeds and Goji berries
2 cups of quick oats
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds1/4 cup of Chia seeds
1/4 cup of Goji berries
Soy or Almond Milk
Raspberries, Strawberries or Blueberries
Combine oats, seeds and berries
Pour milk over the top and serve with mixed berries and banana.
